This is a picture taken from inside my pocket. Now, camera’s were meant to take pictures, record events, document beauty. But this poor camera went crazy in a pocket and didn’t capture anything except the dark underside.
Do you kinda feel like you’re living this kind of life. Hidden in a pocket, really not capturing the zest of life that you were intended to? I’ve been there, but recently I’ve started a journey of Fasting from wrong thinking. Its a 40 day fast from wrong thoughts devotional by Gregory Dickow. Today’s thought is “I don’t have enough”. This is a lie, but if you seem to be taking pictures from the wrong perspective you may have believed this lie.
Here’s the truth, and I believe it:
Philipians 4:19 God shall supply all my need, according to His riches
I always have enough, my God is more than enough. He is all I need, He will take care of the rest. Gregory Dickow says that the thought “I don’t have enough” is an invisible fence that keeps you in the backyard of lack and deficiency. Its the barrier to documenting the beauty and provision of God in your life!
I don’t know about you, but today I’ve chosen to stop taking pictures from the pocket I lived in and decided to break down the barrier and live in the truth that GOD IS ENOUGH!
