How do you write your blog?

The question came up the other day…How do you write your blog?  Do you read really great commentaries and steal their work?  Agonize for hours what to say and how to say it? Write and re-write until its perfect? Do you dig up as many one liners as you can and put them all together? 

I contemplated that question because I had never really examined how or why I blog! 

I’ll start with the why?  I blog because of God.  No other reason other then God.  He has given me an overflow in my heart and mind.  So, Because I am not afforded an opportunity to stand before the multitudes and share all that God has done, I blog!  I’m not really sure if anyone reads it.  Well, that’s not true, some people do.  I know my mom does and I have a couple friends that follow my posts, but for the most part I look at this blog as a way to share my heart, mostly with God and for God.  What He has given I return in the form of the written word.  He gave and so I document it:)

How?  For the most part I just sit down and in about 3-9 minutes whatever was to be written is written and posted! Easy!  Seriously, whatever God has given in my heart is simply put to the computer screen and shared with you:)  I rarely LABOR over a post.  If I find myself laboring I stop because then I know it is a word that is coming from ME not from the Lord.  Now mind you, not every blog is full of heaven sent words, but most every blog comes from within  me, out of whatever God has done or is doing in my heart.  Thus the name, SHARING MY HEART

When I don’t post for a time period it usually means life has gotten away with me or I’m stuck in a God designed holding pattern.  He’s good like that…always telling me when to be quiet, when to sit with him, when to move.  If I am patient enough and obediently wait, HE is faithful to come.  He’s doing lots of stuff in me now days, so you should be hearing from me more often…whoever YOU may be:)
