Appointed Time

Seriously, if you haven’t read my last blog “The way I see it”, you have to go back and read it before you read this one. It will bring all the more glory to God if you do.

Tonight, I was at Beth Moore’s Living Proof Live conference in Eugene, OR. I love Beth Moore. She was my first introduction to good bible study and has been my standard ever since as to how to teach and learn and celebrate God’s word. Tonight, God got me. I was praying that He would have a word for me tonight and that I might know that He was speaking to me specifically and not just to a room of 7300 people.

Beth Prayed:
“God be Astonishing in Power, come and get your glory Lord”

Yes, Lord, do that!

What came next was not expected but desired. God spoke and it echoed my last blog.

TIME

I don’t have time to share with you all that was spoken and all that was learned but I’ll highlight enough for you to be astonished.

First, She Preached right out of Ecclesiastes! Wasn’t God just speaking this right to me last week?

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Eccl. 3:11)

Beth had the other key to the words that God spoke to me earlier this week, as I sorted out my timeline of life and where I think God was guiding me as I reached to satisfy and complete my ‘life’s work’. She went on to say these things:

Time COMES, it does not GO. Life is not a count down; it is a counting up to something. We are not running out of time; something is coming. Time isn’t winding down; it’ working up. Time always ‘COMES’ in the bible.

Now granted these words probably don’t hit you straight in the heart like they do me. And quite honestly they may not even speak to you at all but lets be real hear, this is my journal not yours and I don’t expect that you would be completely blown away with God’s good workings in my life but celebrate with me the little fact that God was speaking to me on Tuesday the very same message, in different words, that He spoke to me tonight.

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven.
