It is as if I was born with words planted deep in my being. I was told I was a talker as a child, I am a talker now. I wrote early on to express what was bubbling up in side of me. I write. I read. I love God’s Word. The Holy Bible, inspired, inherent, and authoritative. The most important of all words every written, spoken or read. Valuable.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:1-3
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
Jesus is the Word in FLESH.
As I prayed for the Lord to give me His focus for the year of 2016, I knew instantly that the word is THE WORD. I have hesitated writing this down because embracing this word for the year is a very heavy task. The Word is no small thing, it demands respect and commitment. It is without timidity that I stand firm in my resolution to bring honor and glory to THE WORD in 2016.
The Word I need is The WORD that was, that put on flesh to dwell with us, Jesus.
This year I will finish writing the Biblical Counseling Exam and submit my application for certification. This year I will seek to know and live God’s word with more tenacity and fervor then ever in the years past. This year I will write. I will write words down here and I will write down words at my desk and stow them away for rainy days.
Words. The Word. 2016
Hooray! She picked up her pen! Spoke to Siri, hit the keys or whatever it is Tracy does. So excited for the coming year and watching you run with The Word! (which may or may not be safer than running with scissors).
May God’s voice, love & truth blend with your spirit in joyful creativity!
Have fun~ An eager reader, Holly 🙂
I say……….thank God that my daughter now has a peaceful, awe inspiring place to write. I, as her mother, never tired of hearing her talk….on and on and on and….
And now, as an adult, she writes. And I love to read and learn from your writing. Please don’t stop Tracy. God gave you a gift. So glad and thankful when you share it. Xoxoxo
I love you mom! Thank you for you unconditional support and encouragement!
