Yes, indeed, pumpkin is a good thing. Disclosure: some of my pumpkin addictions are not going to help you lose weight….just because it says pumpkin, doesn’t mean its loaded with antioxidants….
Case in point: Pumpkin Spice latte’s….not real pumpkin. But yummy!!!
Healthy Options: Pumpkin Smoothie
This mornings breakfast was brought to you by real organic pumpkin smoothie:
2 Cups Almond Milk
1 scoop of Vega Protein and Greens protein powder. (20g protein per scoop)
1 Banana
1/2 cup organic canned pumpkin
Dash of Nutmeg
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
Ice
Blend
Drink

Lastly, and being made this morning…..
Pumpkin Bread:
You can find this at COSTCO and its EASY! just mix it up and bake in your bread pan and you have pumpkin bread. The added pecans make it delectable and in my house, it keeps the kids away:)
I had a friend that made a pumpkin soup, IN THE PUMPKIN! If you have a recipe for that, will you send it my way? Soon, I’m moving on to chocolate and Christmas cookies, so if you could get me that recipe soon that would be helpful!
Happy Civil War day to my football friends and happy almost Birthday to my mom! It’s a big one and tomorrow we celebrate by having her cook us all Thanksgiving dinner. We know how to make her happy!
