Question #1 Does he really mean it?

Matthew 21:21-22  “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt..you can say to a this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.  If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.’

Would Jesus tell us we could move mountains and receive what we ask for in prayer if it was not true?

To answer that question, I have two statments.  You be the judge.

Either Jesus is a liar or

the statement is true: We can move mountains.

  1. When we consider the works of His hands, and that we are in Him, there is no limit to what we are able to do, except by what we believe to be true, about Him, about who He created us to be.
    Loving you, Louise

  2. Amazing, my eyes are opened more and more each day to the awesomeness of our God. And then the thought that we would be partners with Him to move mountains! OH the Glory! Love you,

  3. Tracy, this passage out of Psalm 8 came to mind in response to your thoughts on mountain moving faith.

“When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers,
    The moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained;
What is man, that Thou dost take thought of him?
And the son of man, that Thou dost care for him?
Yet Thou hast made him a little lower than God,
And dost crown him with glory and majesty!
Thou hast put all things under his feet,
    All sheep and oxen,
And also the beasts of the field,
The birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea,
Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

    O LORD, our Lord,
How majestic is Thy name in all the earth!
