Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning; Jesus to The be all glory given; Word of the Father now in flesh appearing: O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.
Christmas is coming and who doesn’t want to be beautiful for the holidays? We talked about the importance of a SMILE as our first Beauty Secret from the bible, then I found some great information about CHOCOLATE and how I was pretty sure it was an ancient Israelite secret to health and beauty! *Let me be clear I did not find any biblical reference to this fact*, I am trusting that it is a word of knowledge sent from heaven.
Today, I believe that BEHOLDING Jesus is really the only Beauty Secret you need to bring a radiant glow to your face.
Do you now what Christmas is? It’s the day believer’s in Christ celebrate the birthday of The Savior of all human beings. I know it means way different things to Black Friday Shoppers and department store managers but to me it is a season to celebrate that our Savior has come and because of HIM I have, without a doubt…no death, eternal life, real life to come, hope. When we sing about Adoring Him, we aren’t talking about a baby that is cute, we are talking about a Savior that saves. A Lord that changes everything, A God who’s presence has the power to change ANYTHING, even faces.
Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. Psalm 34:4-6
When you spend time with Jesus, when you behold him, you become radiant.
When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD. Exodus 34: 28-30
Many days I wake up and ask the LORD to come sit with me, to let me see His glory, to experience His presence. I adore Him. I behold Him. I ask for His goodness to fall all over me, that I may be radiant with Him.
We all, with unveiled faces, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another. 2 Corinthians 3:18
This is truth. When you spend time with Jesus, when you are set free from captivity and oppression, when you Behold Him, you are changed. I wrote about this a couple years ago in a blog called Changes on the inside.… If you go there you will see what Beholding Jesus did to change my outside appearance. There is proof in the pictures.
Lord make me radiant today and let us eat chocolate!
